Last month, we heard that T-Mobile is about to launch a new USB broadband card in March, and it seems now that the rumors were true, as the carrier has just announced the availability of the 3G webConnect USB Laptop Stick. It will allow customers with laptops to take advantage of its high-speed data 3G and Wi-Fi networks. T-Mobile’s HotSpot Network is available in more than 10,000 places around the U.S. and users will be able to easily connect to the best available network, thanks to the device’s built-in Connection Manager software.
While Wi-Fi is unlimited, T-Mobile offers up to 5 GB of wireless data for $59.99 per month. In addition, the device is equipped with 8 GB of memory so that you can always have your important data with you. The webConnect USB Laptop Stick is available for purchase at a price of $49.99 with a two-year agreement, $99.99 with a one-year agreement and $249.99 contract-free.
